There are many plays that touch on the theme of forgiveness, but this is not that. It is about apologies. Are they always for the other person? Or are they mostly for ourselves? ‘And does that make you feel better?’ is a razor-sharp satire, about friendship, secrets and hypocrisy.

Lucy is a working class actor/writer from Northamptonshire, and a graduate of RADA and Open Door. She has dipped her toes into the world of writing, having had some short plays and monologues performed at scratch nights in pub theatres and online (remember Zoom theatre??). She has been shortlisted for a couple of writing things she cannot remember and annoyingly the Royal Court Writers Group two years in a row (like seriously, gimme a chance). She is particularly passionate about comedy and working class stories that are not all doom and gloom.

Adrian Paul Jeyasingham

Adrian recently graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in 2023; having previously received actor training from the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain (NYT).

His theatre credits at RADA include Twelfth Night, Wild Cherries, The Cherry Orchard, Mary Shelley's 'Frankenstein’, Mirandolina (The Mistress of the Inn), and Stephen Sondheim’s ‘Company’. Professional credits in Film and Television include Idiomatic (Stigma Films), Seven (Sky Studios), and the thriller ‘Iris’ (Sky Studios). Credits in Radio include Siddhartha (BBC), and What Are Prisons For (Audible).

Most recently, Adrian completed a UK tour of the stage play ‘A Picture of Health’ (Tara Theatre & Theatre Of Debate).
