Mere days after the death of Jesus Christ and hell-bent on clearing his name, Judas Iscariot makes his first public appearance on Simona Tonight, an ailing late-night talk show.

But 33AD Judea is a volatile place, and it’s not just Judas and Simona whose reputations are on the line, but the whole broadcast TV industry.

Writer

WILL MCDOWELL is a writer, actor and director working across film, theatre, and music video. He launched MOOJ Productions in 2018, which created work including ‘Robyn Rihanna Fenty (A play inspired by Rihanna)’, as well as music videos and content for artists such as Lil Nas X and Yeah Yeah Yeahs. His 2025 short film ‘Mother Wound’ starring Sheila Reid (‘Benidorm’) opened at Aestheitca Film Festival. ‘JUDAS EXCLUSIVE’ is debuting at Edinburgh Fringe 2026 at ZOO Southside.
